Read moreThe Department of Mechanical Engineering under TARG - NIQR organized a One day seminar on ‘SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT’’ on 12th April 2019.
The chief guest Mr.M. GOWARTHANAN, Sourcing and costing Engineer, HINDUJA TECH LTD( HINDUJA GROUP), Chennai was welcomed by Prof. L. Prabhu, Head – Department of Mechanical Engineering. The chief guest was introduced by Mr.N.Shivakumar, Asst. Professor (Gr-II) Department of Mechanical Engineering. Nearly 25 students participated in the seminar.
The students had an interactive session with the expert and the following contents were discussed.
The programme was conducted for the awareness of the role of Engineers in the field of “Supply chain Management . The Students interacted with the guest regarding the placement opportunities in the field of supply chain management, Global marketing agencies like Amazon, Flipkart ,snapdeal etc., supply chain management and Ethics in Automotive Industries.
